 //Topics this year// Here are the interesting topics we'll be studying this year:

Unit 1 - A Life's Story: We will be reading and writing biographies and autobiographies, which are stories about real people’s lives. We'll learn about famous people such as Thomas Edison, Steve Irwin, and talking about what makes their lives so interesting.

Unit 2 - News: We will be jumping into the wonderful world of news in this unit, learning all about how writers research and write about the real things happening around us. So get your notepads, your pencils and your questions ready - it's time to become newspaper journalists!

Unit 3 - Gothic Tales: Boo! Feel the chill down your spine as you study this spooky unit. The perfect mix of monsters, ghosts and ghouls will have you on the edge of your seat.

Unit 4 - Our World: Let's take a journey around the world and discover how people live in so many different ways. We'll be thinking food, festivals, clothes, language and so much more. So pack your bags and get ready for adventure!

//Top tips for studying// To make sure you do your best this year, it's important to follow these top tips:

• Learn the vocabulary before your lesson each week. You can try testing yourself before the lesson or have someone quiz you.
• Do the online vocabulary quiz in the Kiểm tra - Assessment tab.
• Look at the material on the website after the lesson to help you remember the main ideas.
• Make notes during the lessons and read through them afterwards.
